1OVERVIEW – For over 30 years, Almeda has become an established contractor and service provider in building maintenance and facilities management. With its early success attributed to the open, honest and personal approach, Almeda quickly established a reputation for reliability and efficiency. Whilst retaining its Bristol base, the company now supports key clients across the UK.
2 BRIEF – Almeda appointed Adrenalin to reposition and rebrand it as a forward-thinking company with national reach, away from its original focus on more traditional electrical contracting and installation. It was important to highlight the company’s links to and strong reputation in Bristol and to reflect the business objective of providing excellence in total facilities management support.
3 CREATIVE – The brand name was visualised with a new contemporary feel, using simple, modern fonts to reflect the company culture. Balloons, famous landmarks and a fresh twist on ‘blue’ as icons of Bristol were explored and distilled into a mix of simple, minimal shapes and silhouettes, combined with straight-talking copy and ‘Taking facilities support to a higher level’ descriptor.
4 PRODUCTION – Working closely with the client to source content, the new branding was developed and designed into a suite of stationery, presentation folder, brochure, website template and vehicle livery. The flexibility of the branding allows for all or some of the components to be used according to the medium, providing a practical, future-proof solution that is consistently on-brand.
5 DELIVERY – The new branding and messaging output has given the company the launch pad and confidence to attract some major UK clients and become one of the leading facilities management providers in the country. By getting to grips with its culture, values and business objectives, Adrenalin was able to create a brand that reflected Almeda’s flexible and open commercial approach with a brand palette suited to the future.
